New office

We moved back into our building today, after about 9 months in temporary premises. The renovated building has some excellent features and some that are disappointing. As far as I can tell, I have been allocated the smallest office in the department. Not sure what I did to deserve this. Though I should note that there are several people who are forced to share a large office — and I’d rather be alone in a small office than sharing in a big one.

I did not see it, but apparently there was a “waterspout” in Auckland today. Cool picture here.

Tagging

Our neighbour’s house got tagged on Saturday night. So I said to them “You need to contact the anti-gravity hotline”. Fortunately they ignored my advice and called the anti-graffiti hotline. The tags were gone by the time we got home on Monday evening — an impressive service!
